Day 1 FEZ – IFRAN – MIDELT – MERZOUGA
Early departure on your 2 days tour from Fes to Merzouga – your driver will pick you up at your accommodation. We take the road to Merzouga via Ifrane city, Known as “little Moroccan Switzerland,” Ifrane features houses with sloping roofs, wide avenues and well-kept parks that can easily be confused with a city in the Alps After that, we will head to the cedar forests (the largest in Morocco) where you’ll find huge trees and wild monkeys.
Then we will have a break for lunch. On the way to the Sahara desert of Merzouga/Erg Chebbi, we will pass by Erfoud, a town famous for fossils and dates. when we arrive to Merzouga Sahara Desert you will start your experience to ride a camel to Erg Chebbi, where the silence of the desert is all around you.
Spend the night under the stars in a traditional nomadic Amazigh (Berber) tent, an unforgettable experience on your 2 days tour from Fes to Merzouga.
Day 2: MERZOUGA – ZIZ VALLEY – MIDELT- IFRAN – FEZ
You can get up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise at the top of the dune in the Sahara desert, after you will have breakfast. It may be the best sunrise of your life, then camel ride to meet your driver, where will begin our journey back to Fez through the mountains of the Middle Atlas, we will have a break in Ifran city, then we continue our way to Fes.
