DAY 1: FES – MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS – ZIZ VALLEY – DESERT CAMP

Your 4 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech starts with an early departure from Fes. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane, Known as “little Moroccan Switzerland,” Ifrane features houses with sloping roofs, wide avenues and well-kept parks that can easily be confused with a city in the Alps then we will visit the  cedar forest, home to Barbary monkeys. Continue through the stunning Ziz Valley, with its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. after arriving to Merzouga, the gateway to an unforgettable Fes to Marrakech desert tour. Here, you’ll have camel ride into the Sahara Desert. to enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by a traditional dinner at a Berber camp.

DAY 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Tamrdanite – Khamlia Hassi El-Bied

After breakfast on your Fes to Marrakech tour, your desert adventure begins! Explore the sand-sea dunes near the Algerian border, capturing photos of black volcanic rocks and meeting a nomad family to learn about their unique lifestyle.

Pass through charming Berber villages like Tamrdanite before reaching Khamlia, where you’ll experience the hypnotic rhythms of Gnawa music, a centuries-old tradition with healing properties. Along the way, marvel at the stunning lake at Ait Sareji, especially in spring when it attracts pink flamingos and other birds.

Later, embark on a camel trek into the heart of the Sahara, witnessing a breathtaking sunset over the dunes. Return to the Dunes Luxury Camp for a night of delicious Berber cuisine and stargazing under the desert sky.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – TINGHIR – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGE

Wake up early to see the sunrise over the sand dunes. The sunlight changes the color of the sand and creates beautiful views. Bring your camera to take good pictures.

We then continue your 5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech through the palm groves and oaisis before reaching Tinghir and its breathtaking Todra Gorge – towering over 400m (higher than New York’s Empire State Building!).

The adventure continues to Boumalne Dades and its majestic Dades Valley a stunning region between the High Atlas Mountains and Jebel Saghro range, dotted with oases and mudbrick palaces that give it the fairy-tale nickname “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. with plenty of photo stops along the valley, Night in Boumalne dades.

 

DAY 4: Dades Valley – El Kelaa M'Gouna – Skoura –Ourzazate – Ait Benhaddo – Pass Tizi-n-Tichka – Marrakech

after breakfast enjoy the beautiful dades valley route with its stunning valley and mountains, we visit Kalaat M’Gouna (Valley of Roses), a city in the Dades Valley known for its vast rose gardens, The town hosts the enchanting annual Rose Festival each May, celebrating the rose harvest with parades, music, and traditional celebrations, Surrounded by ancient kasbahs and traditional Berber villages, it sits at the foot of the magnificent 4,000-meter high M’Goun mountain.

After exploring a rose cooperative, we drive to Ouarzazate via Skoura Oasis, arriving in time for dinner and overnight at your hotel – another memorable day on your 5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech.
