FEZ – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA DESERT

Your 4 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech starts with an early departure from Fes. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane, Known as “little Moroccan Switzerland,” Ifrane features houses with sloping roofs, wide avenues and well-kept parks that can easily be confused with a city in the Alps then we will visit the  cedar forest, home to Barbary monkeys. Continue through the stunning Ziz Valley, with its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. after arriving to Merzouga, the gateway to an unforgettable Fes to Marrakech desert tour. Here, you’ll have camel ride into the Sahara Desert. to enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by a traditional dinner at a Berber camp.

Around Merzouga – Desert Tour – Camel Trek & Overnight in Desert Camp

On the second day, wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, embark on a 4×4 adventure, exploring the Sahara’s nomadic villages, oasis, and the famous Khamlia village, renowned for its Gnawa music and cultural heritage. Experience the magic of the Morocco Fes to Marrakech route as you discover hidden desert gems, including a visit to the historic Mifis mine site. Enjoy a traditional lunch featuring authentic Moroccan cuisine with delicious Berber pizza before returning to your hotel. In the evening, relax and enjoy the peaceful desert weather..

DAYS-3

MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TINGHIR – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGE

Wake up early to see the sunrise over the sand dunes. The sunlight changes the color of the sand and creates beautiful views. Bring your camera to take good pictures.

We then continue your 5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech through the palm groves and oaisis before reaching Tinghir and its breathtaking Todra Gorge – towering over 400m (higher than New York’s Empire State Building!).

The adventure continues to Boumalne Dades and its majestic Dades Valley a stunning region between the High Atlas Mountains and Jebel Saghro range, dotted with oases and mudbrick palaces that give it the fairy-tale nickname “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. with plenty of photo stops along the valley, Night in Boumalne dades.

DAYS-4

DADES GORGE – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH

Breakfast, departure for Marrakech, Next stop will be El Kelaa M’gouna (the Valley of Roses), where roses are grown and processed into perfumes, oils, and lotions, then we will drive to Ouarzazate where the largest movie studio in the world and host to such famous films and television shows as Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Gladiator, The Man Who Would Be King, Vikings, Game of Thrones, and Aladdin, as well as several James Bond and Jason Bourne movies. We will then go on to visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the exotic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. 

We will drive through the Tizi N’ Tichka Pass while enjoying superb views of the High Atlas Mountains and Berber villages. We will stop along the way to have lunch
